Adventurous Alaska Engagement Session

Brook and Clinton seemed to know one thing for sure once they were engaged - they wanted to start off their marriage with a truly memorable adventure and they wanted someone to document it!

Neither myself or Brooke or Clinton had ever been to Alaska before so in a very real sense this was a bit of risk considering we only had two days to explore and shoot and we had no idea exactly where we were going to shoot. I scoured the internet and did some virtual scouting online as much as I could leading up to the trip to get location ideas but there's only so much you can do from your computer. So I decided our best bet was to pick rough destinations and use up all the available time and just drive and shoot along the way. So that's exactly what we did. :)

Below is just a small collection of my many favorites from the two days I spent exploring with Brook and Clinton! Traversing narrow highways through the mountains and along the ocean inlets, hiking through the dense forests, walking around massive glacial lakes, hiking up actual glaciers, and hiking to the top of behemoth mountains were just a few of the things we experienced on this adventure that truly was a memorable experience!
