Badlands National Park Elopement

Alexa and Andy really went for the nontraditional approach for their intimate wedding in The Badlands and man was it refreshing!

No getting ready photos, no details, no bridal party, no first look… all that mattered to Alexa and Andy was to have an intimate ceremony in a beautiful location, some bride/groom portraits, some nice family photos (since their families drove all the way across the state for a 12 min ceremony haha), and an intimate dinner with their families after.

I really do love it when my couples come up with their own ideas unique to them for their wedding and don’t feel obligated to people please and conform to what is expected. Such a simple concept for a wedding and yet it was still one of my all time favorites and I truly hope to be photographing more of these in the future!
