Bridgette & Philip // Tented Farmhouse Wedding at Enoch Farm

"Life is too deep for words, so don't try to describe it, just live it." - C.S. Lewis

I think it is far from possible to actually put into words what it was like to be a part of Bridgette & Philip's beautiful summer wedding. I'm not actually going to leaving you hanging right there - I'll give you a bit of context of their day.

Bridgette & Philip had their wedding at the gorgeous Enoch Farm, with everything taking place all right on site. To top it off, they had near perfect weather for their day which made the outdoor ceremony, thee white tented reception, and the outdoor dance beneath the stars an even bigger hit! We even managed to sneak in some night portraits at the end of the night too.

With that said, I would say that's enough words trying to describe it. Go check it out! :)

Alyssa & Forrest // Badlands Adventure Engagement Session

For several years now I had been wanting to shoot a session in The Badlands National Park simply for it's crazy formations and immense beauty! Bringing this idea to fruition was a little easier said then done though because this park is literally in the middle of nowhere and nearly 4 hours from where I live and I knew there weren't many people that would be willing to drive 4 hours for a 1-2 hr shoot and then back home another 4 hours haha. Nonetheless, I approached Alyssa and Forrest with my crazy idea and told them I was going to be coming back from one of my weddings in The Black Hills on this very specific day and asked if they would be interested in doing their session in the park. They instantly jumped on the idea and I began brainstorming and giving them tips on clothing ideas!

Overall this has been one of my favorite sessions to date, and I can't wait to shoot there again! It's such a huge park and there seem to be endless ideas of shooting locations! However, I made one massive mistake when planning this session that I don't intend to ever make again... somehow it never crossed my mind that planning a shoot essentially in a desert in July might not be a great idea as it was nearly 100 degrees out that day haha. Oh well, lesson learned. :)
